Admissions Process – Step-by-Step
1. Choose Your Programme
Explore our full range of Certificate, Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Short Professional Courses across all Schools and Faculties. Identify the programme that best aligns with your career aspirations in healthcare.
2. Check Entry Requirements
Review the minimum academic and professional qualifications for your chosen programme (KCSE mean grades and subject requirements vary by level – see the detailed requirements section for Certificates, Diplomas, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate programmes).
3. Submit Your Application
Applications can be submitted through Our Online Application Portal (preferred), Email submission, or Physical submission at the Admissions Office
4. Document Verification
Submit certified copies of your academic certificates, transcripts, national ID or passport, and passport-size photographs for verification.
5. Receive Admission Offer
Successful applicants will receive a formal Letter of Admission from the university.
6. Registration & Orientation
Complete registration, pay the required fees, and attend the orientation programme before classes begin.

When can I apply? (Intakes)
WIUHMS has three main intakes each year: January, May, and September. Professional courses and Continuing Medical Education (CME) programmes have rolling admissions (you can apply anytime).
How do I apply online?
Create an applicant account on our Online Application Portal, upload your documents, select your programme and intake, track your application status, and receive real-time updates.
Are there any extra steps for international students?
Yes – after receiving your admission letter, our International Office will assist with credential evaluation, student visa processing, airport pickup, accommodation, and orientation.
